Hadzy is free to use, needs no account and shows no ads - and that is not a trial period. It stays that way because a small number of people pay for it on Patreon instead.
Loading and searching millions of comments costs real money every month: the servers that store, index and search the comments, and the pipeline that keeps them up to date. Supporters cover that bill. In return they get the power-user end of the tool - bigger exports, deeper search, batch giveaway draws and creator insights - while everything most people came for stays free for everyone.
Everything you can do right now, on any public YouTube video, without telling us who you are.
Everything in Free, plus the features that turn Hadzy into a working tool for creators, researchers and giveaway hosts.
The $10 Champion tier unlocks exactly the same features - it exists for people who want to give more. For comparison, the best-known YouTube giveaway picker charges $9.99 a month.

The free result and export limits exist to keep automated scrapers from draining the servers everyone shares - not to nudge ordinary use behind a paywall.
Yes. Comment search, author filters, sorting, statistics and the random comment picker all work without an account, without payment and without ads. Two things are metered on the free tier: a search returns the first 250 results, and a CSV export covers up to 250 comments. Everything else is unrestricted.
Supporters can export every comment that matches their filters (up to 500,000 rows, as CSV or JSON), page past the first 250 results, filter by date range, filter out short comments so only the substantial ones are left, draw up to 10 giveaway winners at once with keyword and length filters and a public proof page for each draw, download a statistics pack of CSVs, and open creator insights - the unanswered questions on their video plus an engagement report.
Pledge $5 a month or more on patreon.com/hadzy, then come back to hadzy.com and choose "Log in with Patreon". Supporter features unlock straight away - there are no codes to enter and nothing to install. If you already pledge at a lower tier, raise your pledge to $5 and log in again to refresh your status.
Infrastructure, not salaries. Hadzy runs on servers that store, index and search millions of comments, plus the monitoring and data pipeline that keep everything fresh. Those bills arrive every month whether or not anyone pledges; supporters are what keeps them paid without ads or selling data.
Any time, from your Patreon account, with no email to write. Supporter features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then your account returns to the free tier. Anything you exported while supporting stays yours.
Patreon handles the payments, billing, cancellations and taxes in almost every country, which means Hadzy never stores your card details. It also means supporting is a single click for people who already have a Patreon account, and that you can support the project even if you never use the paid features.
Every pledge goes straight into the servers. If the supporter features are not for you, using Hadzy and telling someone else about it helps too.
